About.....

I grew up in New Zealand where my parents live in a small country town near the coast. My mother is a incredible chef so I grew up with a passion for food and cooking instilled in me from the magic of my mother's cooking. Our home revolved around the kitchen and my youngest memories are cooking with my Mama.  We had a huge veggie garden, chickens, bee hives, fruit trees and my favourite, the fig tree. My dad built a pizza oven, vertical fire and a couple of fire pits in our backyard and a lot of the cooking happens there. We were lucky enough to spend a lot of time on the water in boats, fishing and diving for fresh seafood. I believe in sustainable living, eating seasonally, supporting farmers and local food.  I honed my cooking skills working in kitchens and in catering since I was a young girl. 

I moved to Sydney with it's wonderful restaurants and produce 14 years ago. In 2012 I discovered the brilliant world of food styling and have not looked back.  It combines my passion for food, cooking and creativity.  I love my job and I am always excited to be involved.  I have had the honour of working with some of Sydney's top food stylists and learning from the best as well as building confidence and strong relationships with my clients. 

Cooking and styling brings me a huge amount of happiness and it shows in my work.
